- How does it resemble the music notation that we use now? How does it differ?
- What is the texture of the piece? How many people are singing? Are there any instruments?
- If you were trying to notate the vertical movement of pitch (up and down) does this resemble something you would have come up with?

“Basic” Requirements:
- Compose an original melody
- Title: PLastname - 2
- Composer: Your First and Last Name
- Sharing: “Site Members Can View and Make Comments on this Score”
- 8 measures in length
- Starts and Ends on the note “G”
- Use only the notes G, A, B, C & D on the staff
- Use Half Notes, Quarter Notes, and Pairs of Eighth Notes
- Use one rest at the end of the 4th measure to create a "Phrase"
- Utilizes at least two "Dynamic" changes (forte = loud, piano = soft)
- Uses the notes G, A, B, C & D
- Uses the correct rhythm and rest combination
- Browse and comment on another person’s score!
