Goals:

• Continued exploration of the basic functions of Garage Band
• To understand classical music in relation to popular music styles
• To develop skills in dealing with larger MIDI files
• To develop creativity by using non-standard instrumentation

• A musical work using Garage Band of at least 32 measures
• Import a MIDI melody file from the Project 9 MIDI Page.
• Try to figure out the Form of the piece (Listen to the repetition of the Melody)
• Edit down your song and limit your song to approximately 2 minutes of music.

• Manipulate instruments by functionality
• Add Drums and effects
