Nov. 11 - Congratulations to all Oak Prairie Concert Band and Symphonic Band students on their outstanding performance last night. It was truly a pleasure to conduct such fine groups! The slideshow with the Mp3 from the concert are available below.
Nov. 4 - Solo and Ensemble Contest is coming soon! Permission Slip and Information Letter are now available. Please return permission slips before November 21st, so music can be selected over Thanksgiving break.

Oct. 27 - Permission Slips are now available for the November 21st Rock Climbing Trip at LifeTime Fitness Romeoville. Students participating in fundraising are free!

About our Program...

Oak Prairie offers instrumental music education to students interested in being a part of this school music community. We offer three concert bands in District 92, including beginning band at Ludwig School, intermediate band and symphonic band at Oak Prairie.

We also have three extra-curricular ensembles; two jazz bands and a pep band.

Students in the Oak Prairie Bands are eligible to particpate in the IMEA District 1 Concert Band, the IMEA District 1 Jazz Bands and the IGSMA District 6 Solo and Ensemble Festival.

Oak Prairie and Ludwig Schools are part of Will County School District 92.
