Times will be posted at Oak Prairie as soon as they are available.
Here are a couple of reminders to help make sure that you are prepared:
- Make sure you have the original for the judge with the measures numbered!!
- Practice your scales: Play one scale in the key that the piece begins, and another of your choice.
- Do not wear medals from previous contests
- Dress nicely, but don’t wear anything that indicates what school you go to. Gents, a shirt and tie would be nice. Ladies, a nice blouse and slacks would be appropriate.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your first event. This will give you plenty of time to allow you to find your room and do a good warm-up.
- Get plenty of sleep the night before, eat a good breakfast, and enjoy your accomplishment!
