Students may now begin enrolling in SmartMusic classes for the 2009-2010 School Year. - 7th Grade Wind students should enroll in Symphonic Band Period 1.
- 8th Grade Wind students should enroll in Symphonic Band Period 2.
- 7th & 8th Grade Percussionists should enroll in the Symphonic Band Percussion Class.
- Concert Band Wind students should enroll in Concert Band Period 8.
- Concert Band Percussionists should enroll in Concert Band Percussion.
- Don't forget to enroll in Jazz Ensemble if you earned it!

Check out the Alfred's Drum Lessons in SmartMusic. Each lesson can be downloaded to your computer (Right Click and Save File as...) and opened with SmartMusic. Work slowly through each of the exercises! |

Instead of logging in, select "Find Music" from the opening prompt and sight-read away. About our Program...

Oak Prairie offers instrumental music education to students interested in being a part of this school music community. We offer three concert bands in District 92, including beginning band at Ludwig School, intermediate band and symphonic band at Oak Prairie.
We also have three extra-curricular
ensembles; two jazz bands and a pep band.
Students in the Oak Prairie Bands are eligible to particpate in the IMEA District 1 Concert Band, the IMEA District 1 Jazz Bands and the IGSMA District 6 Solo and Ensemble Festival. |
